Notice of Job Opportunity

 

Minersville Town is accepting applications for Events Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and direct Town Events, including:
    • Easter Egg Hunt
    • Cino De Mayo
    • 4th of July
    • September 11th
    • Veteran’s Day (partner with the school)
    • Christmas Tree Lighting/Santa Visit
    • Optional Events, 1 Adult, 1 Family based activity
  • Create a committee to help organize events
  • Planning the scope of the event, including time, location, program, and cost  
  • Remaining under or with in budget with all costs
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a variety of events.

Qualifications:

  • Possess strong organizational and communication skills
  • Be able to work effectively with volunteers, parents, and community members

Salary: The Event Coordinator will be compensated on an event-by-event basis

Applications may be obtained from the Minersville Town Office during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
